Objectives and Contents

Objectives: The aim of this course is to discuss the fundamental techniques used in the application of subjective audiological tests, to ensure a theoretical understanding of these techniques, and to carry out their application. The course also aims to address the techniques that are essential for accurate hearing measurement and their proper implementation.
Content: In this course, an introduction to audiometry is provided, and the hearing system and the physical properties of sound are examined. The audiometer and test environment are introduced, and audiometric evaluation methods are taught. Types and degrees of hearing loss and audiogram configurations are analyzed.
