This training covers topics such as recognizing the machinery and hand tools used in orthopedic prosthetics and orthotics workshops, explaining occupational health and safety rules, identifying risks in the workshop environment, selecting appropriate personal protective equipment, using machinery and hand tools in accordance with safe working principles, performing cutting, bending, shaping, and threading operations with hand tools, and checking the accuracy and suitability of the operations from an occupational safety perspective. |
