Objectives and Contents

Objectives: It is aimed to create a theoretical knowledge that will form the basis of the basic orthotic concept, its aims, and orthotic approaches that are frequently used in lower-upper extremity and trunk pathologies.
Content: Definition and classification of orthoses, materials used, lower extremity pathologies and orthoses, spinal pathologies and orthoses, upper extremity pathologies and orthoses, additional parts and modifications to orthoses, mobility aids.
