| Objectives: | To convey the definition, scope and history of biotechnology; It is aimed to give information about traditional and modern biotechnological methods and the areas where they are used. |
| Content: | Understanding the relationship between genetics and biotechnology, examples of different biotechnological studies, current information about animal, plant, environmental and microbial biotechnology as well as medical and forensic biotechnology are examined. |
