Objectives and Contents

Objectives: The aim of this course is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental anatomical and physiological structures of the brain and nervous system, as well as the basic mechanisms underlying neurological diseases, through an integrated approach.
Content: The course covers the general anatomy and physiology of the brain, the central nervous system and spinal cord, neuromuscular and muscle diseases, neuromuscular junction disorders, cerebrovascular diseases, epilepsy, demyelinating diseases, dementia, coma, extrapyramidal system disorders, as well as upper and lower motor neuron diseases and spinal cord pathologies.
