Objectives and Contents

Objectives: This course aims to gain the basic mathematical principle of the finite element method, apply the finite element method, and solve various complex engineering problems using this method.
Content: The content of this course consists of the calculus of variation, variational notation, Galerkin formulations, plane elasticity, theory plates and shells, isoparametric coordinates, eigenvalue value and time-dependent problems, and programming techniques, and the introduction of existing package programs.
