Objectives and Contents

Objectives: The aim of this course is; To learn what process variability is, what statistical methods are used in statistical process control, how to detect variability in the process before defective products appear, and to use these methods with Minitab software.
Content: Definition of quality, history, design quality and conformity quality. Variability, its measurement and the importance of variability for the process, Basic statistical methods used in quality improvement, Statistical foundations on which process control cards are based, Use of statistical decision-making methods in process control, Variance analysis, Control cards for measurable variables, (X mean, R, S), Control cards for unmeasurable variables (p, np, c, u), Process and machine capability analysis Acceptance sampling and standard sampling plans Single, double, multiple and sequential sampling plans
