Objectives: It aims to provide students with the knowledge and attitudes necessary for accurate monitoring and evaluation of physiological parameters during the extracorporeal circulation process, as well as for the early recognition of potential complications.
Content: Hemodynamic monitoring and measurements, blood gas analysis, air control, temperature monitoring, electrocardiography, fluid and electrolyte balance, coagulation monitoring perfusion techniques suitability, preoperative echocardiography, monitoring of cardiac catheterization, transesophageal ECO usage
