The structure and working principles of the exhaust system, engine noise reduction and the operation of thrust reversers are discussed. The structure and working principles of bearings, seals, lubrication systems are examined. In addition, information is given on the properties of lubricants and fuels, safety precautions and additives. This course provides the necessary theoretical and practical information for the maintenance and performance management of engine components. |
