Objectives: | This course aims to continue Social Psychology I. This course aims to expand students' knowledge of human behaviour and thought in social context. Topics include self-concept, self-esteem, and gender identity - the elements of social identity; conformity, compliance, and obedience - processes that influence social behavior; altruism; causes and control of aggression; and group performance, including group decision-making and leadership. |
Content: | During the course, you will have opportunities to learn about "How we influence each other, why we sometimes hurt other people, how we think about ourselves and others, how we communicate non-verbally Why people behave pro-socially, and where prejudice and stereotypes come from. |
