Objectives and Contents

Objectives: This course aims to examine the media from historical, social, economic and cultural perspectives and to ensure that the media texts are examined correctly. During the course, media organizations will be evaluated in terms of economics and politics and the meanings of the messages presented to the public will be analysed.
Content: Contents of the course include the subjects such as visual and auditory analysis of media texts, discourse analysis, semiology.
