This course examines the basic concepts and principles of economics within both microeconomic and macroeconomic frameworks. The course covers topics such as scarcity, choice, and opportunity cost; supply and demand, market equilibrium, and elasticity; consumer and producer behavior, and market structures. In addition, key macroeconomic issues such as national income, unemployment, inflation, economic growth, monetary and fiscal policies, money supply and demand, interest rates, exchange rates, and financial crises are analyzed, and economic decision-making processes and policy applications are explained through real-world examples. |
