The design proposal should cover a detailed analyses of the environment in order to describe the need for the proposed solution. The proposed location and design should resolve a problem/need, while meeting the general design criteria.Students shall start their work with following tasks; site analyses, mapping, environmental factors, design proposal based on observations, etc. Upon approval of preliminary design proposal by the instructor, students shall provide site plan, site section, necessary building plans, sections and elevations in various scales as per request of your studio instructor. Three dimensional visualization and/or scaled modeling can be used to better express your design ideas. In addition to these general requirements, studio instructors will separately draw the boundary of student assignments due to nature of design studio and he/she may request you to perform specific assignments / homework in detail related with this project. |
