Objectives and Contents

Objectives: To teach diodes, BJT and MOSFET transistors, which are basic electronic components, and operational amplifier structures, and to provide the ability to analyze and synthesize circuits formed with these components.
Content: Introduction to Electronic Circuits, Semiconductors and pn Junctions, Diode Operation and Models, Diode Applications: Rectifiers, Clippers, etc., Bipolar Junction Transistor (BJT), Biasing Circuits, BJT Amplifiers (CE-CB-CC), Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor (MOSFET), Biasing Circuits, MOS Amplifiers (CS-CG-CD), Operational Amplifier (OP-AMP) and Its Applications, CMOS Inverter.
