Objectives and Contents

Objectives: This course aims to introduce the main topics, theories, and applications of computer networks and operating systems.
Content: This course introduces students to fundamental topics in Data Communications and Computer Networks and examines concepts in operating system design and the fundamentals of system programming. It covers network topologies, circuit and packet switching, switching and routing protocols, network management, and security. It also covers computer and operating system architecture, process management, file systems, and memory management.
