| Objectives: | The aim of the course is to enable students to understand and interpret the duties and responsibilities of shipping agents to the parties, their place in the legal regulation, the types of agencies and their importance for the shipowner, the agency assignment letters, and the basic documents. |
| Content: | The definition of the shipping agency, who it is authorized to represent and its responsibilities to the parties, PDA contents and agency assignment letter samples, ship agency types and differences, the importance of documentation are explained and the documents are introduced. |
