Objectives and Contents

Objectives: It is aimed to provide information on understanding the psychosocial profile of individuals with disabilities, impairments, or disorders due to physical, sensory, or cognitive reasons; comprehending the factors affecting the psychosocial process; and guiding rehabilitation programs by considering psychosocial problems that may be encountered in clinical practice.
Content: Introduction to psychosocial rehabilitation, psychosocial rehabilitation after accidents, stress and post-traumatic stress disorder, depression and coping strategies, psychosocial rehabilitation for individuals with visual impairments, psychosocial rehabilitation for individuals with hearing impairments, psychosocial rehabilitation for individuals with physical disabilities, psychosocial rehabilitation for children with disabilities and their families, psychosocial rehabilitation in chronic illnesses.
