Objectives and Contents

Objectives: The aim of this course is to provide the students with the knowledge of explaining movement and its structures and mechanics.
Content: Definition of biomechanics, topics covered by kinesiology and biomechanics, movement and movement types, general mechanical principles, bone diseases, structure-properties of cartilage tissue, pathokinetics of mechanics; mechanics and pathomechanics of muscle function; mechanical properties of collagen tissue, and pathomechanics, classification of body joints, movement of joints in planes, levers, balance, orientation planes and coordinates.
