Objectives and Contents

Objectives: To students; The aim is to provide students with information about the theory of outdoor sports and to provide them with the skills to practice them.
Content: The content of the course includes natural life and environmental protection, the concept and characteristics of living in nature, auxiliary information in mountaineering, dangers encountered in mountaineering and protection, camping equipment and points to be considered when using it, clothing in nature sports, feeding in nature and tent setting exercises, meanings of activities classified as mountaineering - walking - hiking - canyoning - camping - rock climbing - ice climbing - mixed climbing - alpinism, walking and walking techniques and practical studies, climbing and descent, basic elements of climbing, climbing techniques and artificial wall climbing exercises, winter mountaineering, camping, in snowy lands progression and climbing techniques, rock climbing, history, rock climbing types. It covers rock climbing practice, sport rock climbing and climbing-related research, rock climbing practice, theory of equipment and technical studies used in mountain biking, mountain bike practice, high altitude climbing theory, high altitude climbing practice.
