This course aims to learn the basic practices of aircraft maintenance activities. The course covers in detail the main components of maintenance such as transmission systems, control cables, material handling techniques, disassembly and assembly procedures, repair and inspection methods. In addition, aircraft weight and balance calculations, handling and storage operations, methods of response to unusual situations and the use of digital technical documentation (AMM) within the scope of standard maintenance procedures are taught in accordance with ATA Chapter 5/7/8/9 & SHT 66/EASA Part 66 Module 7A 7.15-20 basic knowledge contents. The course covers maintenance practices in accordance with quality standards based on both national (SHT-66) and international (EASA Part-66) regulations. Students gain professional competence in sectoral maintenance processes by reinforcing the theoretical knowledge with practice in the workshop environment. |
