AMAÇ VE İÇERİK
Amaç:	Sosyal antropoloji bilimi, inceleme alanı, temel ilkeleri, yaklaşımları, yöntemleri ve antropolojinin kültür aşırı yaklaşımını benimseyerek faklı kültürlere karşı farkındalık oluşturmaya ilişkin bilgilerin kazandırılması amaçlanmaktadır.
İçerik:	Antropolojinin tanımı ve temel kavramları, dil, iletişim, ekonomi ve kültüre ilişkin başlıca konular, aile ve toplumsal cinsiyet, farklı kültürler.

DERSİN ÖĞRENME ÇIKTILARI (Öğrenciler, bu dersi başarı ile tamamladıklarında aşağıda belirtilen bilgi, beceri ve/veya yetkinlikleri gösterirler.)
Kültürün insan davranışı üzerindeki etkilerini açıklar.
İnsanlık tarihini ve kültürleri geniş bir bakış açısıyla değerlendirir.
Cinsiyet rolleri, aile, evlilik, din gibi konuların kültürler arası farklılıklar içerisinde oluşma sürecini karşılaştırır.
Antropolojik bakış açısıyla günümüz modern toplumlarını değerlendirir.
Sosyal antropolojinin veri toplama yöntemlerini kullanarak tasarlar.
Sosyal antropolojinin yöntemlerini diğer sosyal bilimlerin yöntemleri ile karşılaştırır.
