AMAÇ VE İÇERİK
Amaç:	Dersin amacı, Osmanlı İmparatorluğu’nun son dönemlerine ve Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin kuruluşuna varıncaya dek siyasal süreçlere yön vermiş fikir hareketlerini, ideolojik kırılmaları ve yaklaşımları tarihsel ve teorik düzeyde öğrencilere yorumlatmaktır.
İçerik:	Dersin içeriği, modern öncesi klasik Türk siyasi düşüncelerine yön vermiş etmenleri, modernleşme döneminde açığa çıkan fikir hareketleri, ideolojik etkileri, kırılmaları, Cumhuriyet öncesi yaşanan fikir hareketliliği, iktidar mücadeleleri, Cumhuriyet’in kuruluşuna yön vermiş ve sonraki yıllarda siyasi yaşamını etkilemiş fikirsel akımları kapsamaktadır.

Siyaset felsefesi ve siyasi tarihte alınan bilgileri Türk siyasi düşüncelerini kavramada kullanır
Türkiye’deki siyasi fikir hareketleri ve yaklaşımlarını tarihsel olarak birbiriyle kıyaslar
Güncel siyasi akımları veya düşünceleri irdelerken Türk siyasi hareketine yön vermiş hareketlerin düşünsel mirasını göz önünde bulundurarak birleştirir
Türkiye’deki siyasi gelişmeleri ve tartışmaları Türk siyasi hayatına damga vurmuş fikirlerle değerlendirir
