Aim of the Program

Mission of Department

The mission of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department is to train engineers who are sensitive to universal values, aiming to contribute to the problems of the society with an innovative and open-minded approach, participating joint projects with well-known international educational institutions.

 

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

According to the mission of Electrical and Electronics Engineering program, the following program educational objectives are expected to be achieved by our graduates within a few years of their graduation:

 

1)Graduates will continue their education and development in line with science freedom.

 

2)Graduates will continue their careers using the skills and knowledge they have acquired in undergraduate engineering programs.

 

3)Graduates will be known as active participants in a wide variety of jobs, community activities/service or government or public service.

 

4)Graduates will serve at the national and international level, have self-confidence, communication skills to create a successful career, and can take an effective and leading role in managing their professional knowledge.

 

Objectives of the Program

Vision of Department

The vision of  Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department is to become a leading education center which is in continuous development in the field of universal science and contemporary education in the light of the latest technological developments, respects ethical values, produces knowledge for the benefit of society by providing universal contributions to science and technology.

 

Student Outcomes (SOs)

Our BSc program in Electrical and Electronics Engineering strives to ensure that our students attain the following outcomes:

1. An ability to identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics

2. An ability to apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specified needs with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors

3. An ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences

4. An ability to recognize ethical and professional responsibilities in engineering situations and make informed judgments, which must consider the impact of engineering solutions in global, economic, environmental, and societal contexts

5.  An ability to function effectively on a team whose members together provideleadership, create a collaborative and inclusive environment, establish goals,plan tasks, and meet objectives

6. An ability to develop and conduct appropriate experimentation, analyze andinterpret data, and use engineering judgment to draw conclusions

7. An ability to acquire and apply new knowledge as needed, using appropriatelearning strategies.
