OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The main purpose of the Film and Ecocriticism course is to enable students to learn the concept of ecocriticism, which is a type of criticism, and to have an ecology-based perspective on the art of cinema.
Contents of the Course Unit: Understanding the concept of eco-criticism, having information about films on ecology, making interdisciplinary analyzes based on film and eco-criticism, and raising awareness about ecological movements and ecological life constitute the content of the course.

Can Explain the concept of eco-criticism.
Can discuss ecology based films.
As a filmmaker, he/she can pay attention to ecological consciousness in the creation process.
