Objectives of the Course Unit: | To provide information about the general characteristics of microorganisms that cause disease in humans and their relationships with humans and each other. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Introduction to microbiology includes topics such as classification of microorganisms, bacterial cell structure, production and staining methods of microorganisms, normal flora, disease causing microorganisms, immune system, antibiotics, disinfection, antisepsis, sterilization, etc. |
