OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Mikroorganizmaların insan, hayvan, diğer canlı organizma yaşamı ile olan ilişkilerini ve önemlerini belirlemek. Çevre ve çevre sağlığı üzerine etkilerini ve önemlerini açıklamak. Hastalık etkeni olan mikroorganizmaların bulaşma ve korunma yolları hakkında bilgi sahibi olmak ve yaptığı hastalıklar ile hastalık oluşturma mekanizmalarının özelliklerini incelemektir.
Contents of the Course Unit: Mikrobiyolojinin temel esasları, mikrobiyolojinin tarihi ve kapsamı, yaşamımızda mikroorganizmalar, sponton generasyon, biyogenesis ve hastalıkların germ teorileri, kimyasal temeller, kimyasal bağlar ve reaksiyonlar, önemli biyolojik moleküller, mikroskoplar, boyama teknikleri, mikroorganizmaların sınıflandırılması ve sınıflandırılmasındaki temel yöntemler, prokaryotik ve ökaryotik hücre yapıları, gram-pozitif ve gram-negatif bakteriler, dış ve iç organeller, mikrobiyal gelişme için kimyasal ve fiziksel gereksinimler, besi ortamı ve çeşitleri, saf kültür, mikrobiyal gelişmenin kontrolü, bakteriler, funguslar, mayalar, algler, aktinomisetler, protozoonlar, virüsler, parazitler, mikrobiyal genetik, mikroorganizmaların beslenme şekilleri ve metabolizmaları, mikroorganizmaların yararlı ve zararlı etkileri, immunolojinin tanımı, antikor ve antijen ve bunların reaksiyonları.

Alanında uzmanlaşmak için gerekli temel mikrobiyoloji bilgisini vererek; aynı veya farklı bir alanda bilgilerini uzmanlık düzeyinde ve disiplinler arasında geliştirir ve derinleştirir.
Mikrobiyoloji konularına ilişkin bilgiye sahip olur.
Uzmanlık derslerinde geçen mikrobiyoloji terim bilgisine sahip olarak diğer dersler ile paralel bir eğitime sahip olur.
Mikrobiyoloji alanıyla ilgili çalışmaları takip etmeye yöneltmek amacıyla sunum ödevi verilerek, bu süreçte araştırma yapmak, disiplinler arası çalışmaları öğrenmek ve bireysel sorumluluklar almak konusunda gerekli özgüveni ve yetkinliği kazanır.
Mikrobiyoloji alanıyla ilgili konularda, ilgili kişi ve kurumlarla işbirliği yapabilecek düzeyde kendisini yazılı ve sözlü olarak ifade edebilme becerisine sahip olur.
Mikrobiyoloji alanındaki mevcut bilgiyi eleştirel ve diyalektik bir yaklaşımla değerlendirebilme, sahip olduğu bilgi, kavrayış ve becerileri disiplininin gerektirdiği profesyonel bir yaklaşımla etik ilkelerin ışığında, mesleki davranış kuralları, ölçütler ve standartlar ile yasal çerçevelere uygun olarak, olası toplumsal, çevresel ve etik sonuçlarını dikkate alarak kullanabilme yetkinliğine sahip olur.
