OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to gain knowledge and attitudes about the basic structure and functioning mechanisms of all systems that make up the human body.
Contents of the Course Unit: Mechanisms of cells, tissues and systems in human body

Explains the concept of homeostasis and physiological regulation mechanisms.
Explains body fluid compartments.
Tells the basic properties of membrane transport mechanisms.
Tells the functions of blood and the properties of blood cells
Explains the basic features of the nervous system.
Explains the basic working principles of motor and sensory nervous system parts.
Explains the mechanism of muscle contraction.
Orders the energy sources of muscle.
Explains the parts and properties of the circulatory system.
