OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: To develop students’ ability to read academic and semi-academic texts critically, efficiently, and independently, with a focus on meaning construction, argument tracking, and inference rather than vocabulary memorization alone.
Contents of the Course Unit: Students will engage with a variety of texts to develop their familiarity with different texts.
