OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to introduce foreign policy of Turkish Republic regarding territorialisation tendencies in the international system following the end of Cold War for creating independent thinking environment and improve aptitude for evaluating both territorialisation tendency and foreign policy approach of Turkey within this scope in a critical way.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include, territorialisation concept, factors effecting territorialisation, territorialisation movements in Europe, Asia, America, Africa and Latin America, effects of these movements on Turkish foreign policy

1. Explain descriptions and concepts regarding territorialisation
2. Interpret factors effecting the emergence of territorialisation tendencies
3. Relate for causation regarding the taking-part of Turkey in the regional institutions
4. Relate policies of Turkey regarding territorialisation tendencies in the international system with foreign policy in the present day
