OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to design various hydraulic structures in water resources projects.
Contents of the Course Unit: It contains the hydraulic design of structures such as water intake structures, diversion dams, energy dissipater structures and bridges and culverts.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

To be able to design the water intake structure by determining the water requirement
To be able to make hydraulic and static calculations of coupling
To be able to design the energy dissipating structure
