OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Learning basic concepts about scientific research. Having knowledge about the types of research. Understanding and using the researches in the field of communication. Scientific research practises. Proper report preparation in terms of content and format. Making scientific studies and presenting this work with scientific principles.
Contents of the Course Unit: General Information about the Course, Types of Reasoning, Types of Variables, Scientific Theory: Proposition, Hypothesis, Theory: Differences and Similarities, Approaches to Philosophy of Science, Identification, and Application of Data Collection Tools, Fundamentals of Survey Concept and Application Areas, Google Forms: Data Entry and Variable Declaration, SurveyMonkey, Google Forms: Bar, Pie, and Histogram, Public Relations Practices Project Research 1, Public Relations Practices Project Research 2, Public Relations Practices Project Research 3, Public Relations Practices Project Research 4.
