Objectives of the Course Unit: | The aim of this course is to ensure that students understand the basic building blocks of the civil aviation sector and to support them in recognizing the operational processes in the sector by understanding the relationships between the components in the aviation system. During the course, students will learn to classify aircraft types, define the elements of the aviation system and explain the basic processes of aviation operations. With this information, students will gain a comprehensive perspective on the world of civil aviation and make a solid start to their careers. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | In this course, starting from the history of civil aviation, the classification of aircraft, the components of the aviation system and operational processes will be discussed, and the roles and duties of national and international aviation organizations will be examined. |
