OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: In this course, the definition and historical process of the translation studies, translation process and the role of the translator in this process are aimed to teach students.
Contents of the Course Unit: nalysing the history of translation studies, identification of translation problems, emphasizing the term equivalance in translation, informing about translation techniques of different text types, beginner two-way translation exercises
