OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Basic concepts related to creativity and art, factors affecting creativity, effects of different art areas on children, points to be considered in art education and creative art activities The aim of the course is to gain knowledge, skills and attitudes.
Contents of the Course Unit: Concepts related to art and creativity and characteristics of creative individuals, supporting creativity in early childhood and the role of educator, factors affecting the development of creativity in children, preparing an environment and program supporting creativity, different art areas for children, stages and features of children's paintings, creativity in family and art the importance of art education, art activities and creative materials appropriate for children's age and developmental characteristics, preparation of art activities, suitable for children's age and development characteristics and discussion of these examples.
