OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to gain knowledge and skills in urology nursing, diagnosing nursing, planning, implementing, evaluating nursing interventions, and communicating effectively with other health professionals.
Contents of the Course Unit: Urology Nursing, Nursing Care, Urinary System Infections, Urinary System Injuries, Urinary System Stone Diseases, Urinary System Tumors, Urinary Incontinence, Male Reproductive System Diseases, Female Reproductive System Diseases

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Explains the basic concepts and principles of urology nursing.
Applies the nursing process of the urology patient before, during and after the surgery.
Implements the measures related to urinary incontinence in the elderly and children.
Applies nursing care to healthy / sick individuals related to the urinary system.
