Objectives of the Course Unit: | It is aimed to gain knowledge, attitude and skills related to intensive care nursing. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | The Concept and Features of Intensive Care, Design and Features of the Intensive Care Unit, Features and Responsibilities of the Wound Care Nurse, Approach to Bedridden Patients and Nursing in Intensive Care, Pressure Sores, Monitorization, Basic ECG, Mechanical Ventilator and Nursing Care, Basic Life Support, Advanced Life Support , Sedation and Analgesia Applications. |

Practice the necessary interventions in emergency situations that arise in the intensive care unit. |
