OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Students will be able to understand the role of technology in contemporary translation practice; differentiate between CAT tools, translation memories, machine translation systems, terminology databases, and AI applications; conduct terminology research using digital resources;
Contents of the Course Unit:	effectively utilize translation memory systems and CAT tools; create and manage difficulty; apply corpus-based methods to support translation decision-making; evaluate machine translation output and perform post-editing tasks; critically assess AI- generated translations; implement translation quality assurance procedures; understand localization workflows and professional translation processes; critically reflect on ethical and professional issues related to translation technology; and produce a technology-enhanced translation portfolio that demonstrates professional competence.

Active participation in classroom discussions is necessary. Participants are required to prepare handouts.  The presenters are supposed to read the assigned resources and prepare the assignments.
