OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to provide the students with the ability to use effective, sufficient and efficient human resources, which is one of the basic sources of the institution and which can affect the productivity level of other resources.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the subjects such as job definition and analysis of human resources units; job evaluation; worker finding; selection and measurement techniques; interview techniques; performance evaluation system and wage management; industrial relations; detailed information and studies on integrating information technologies into the HR process.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Define the general concepts in Human Resources and the historical development of human resources.
Explain the differences between Human Resources Management and Personnel Management.
Interpret the legislation in the field of Human Resources (Labor Law No. 4857), which contains rules on the private sector that determine the working order.
Interpret the main fields of activity of Human Resources Management.
Analyze Human Resources activities related to technology and innovation.
