This course aims to enable students to recognize and analyze public and semi-public spaces, to identify user needs in these spaces, and to make accessible and functional design decisions. During the course, observation and spatial analysis are conducted on a designated project area; user behaviors are examined; and a program for the area is created. Urban furniture and environmental features are evaluated according to anthropometric and ergonomic criteria, material selections, and safety. Students apply their acquired knowledge to develop original urban furniture and landscaping projects. |
