Objectives and Contents

Objectives: The aim is to provide students with up-to-date podological care, preventive and supportive practices for foot and nail problems in different individual groups and special situations, and to improve their clinical practice skills.
Content: This course covers kinesiological taping, orthonyxia and onychoplasty techniques, orthotic applications, and podological approaches to nail diseases. Principles of podological care in systemic and infectious diseases, pediatrics, athletes, pregnant women, and individuals with disabilities are taught. Dressing and bandaging techniques and foot massage applications are performed both theoretically and practically. Practical exams are conducted throughout the course.
