Objectives and Contents

Objectives: It is aimed to define the relationship of basic biochemistry and metabolism information with diseases as clinical biochemistry, to understand the relationship of metabolites in metabolism with diseases, to determine these metabolites with the appropriate method and to teach the reference laboratory methods used in order to achieve these goals.
Content: Protein metabolism and pathologies, Hemoglobin synthesis disorders, Porphyrias, Carbohydrate metabolism disorders, Diabetes, Lipoprotein metabolism disorders, Atherosclerosis, Lipid metabolism disorders, Lipidoses, Integration of Metabolism, Metabolism in fasting and satiety, Clinical enzymology and Marker enzymes are examined.
