Objectives and Contents

Objectives: It is aimed to learn the general pathological changes that cause disease in the living organism on a cell basis, to evaluate the formation (pathogenesis) and causes of these pathological changes, to recognize the macroscopic changes that occur in tissues and organs, and to have a general idea about the microscopic changes.
Content: Introduction to pathology and basic concepts; pathological changes at the cellular level; inflammation and immune response; circulatory disorders and their consequences; tissue healing and repair processes; neoplasms (tumors); pathologies according to organ systems; inflammation; healing and transplantation; causes of disease; immunopathology; and developmental disorders.
