Objectives and Contents

Objectives: The aim is to provide knowledge and skills related to the assessment, planning, and implementation of physiotherapy approaches in the acute and chronic phases of neurological diseases affecting the central and peripheral nervous systems. This includes pediatric areas from birth to eighteen years, particularly focusing on Cerebral Palsy (CP) and Pediatric Neuromuscular diseases. The physiotherapist's role is emphasized in pediatrics, cardiovascular and pulmonary units, intensive care, geriatrics, and oncology rehabilitation.
Content: Fundamental level applications related to physiotherapy and rehabilitation for neurological diseases followed on an outpatient and/or inpatient basis. Clinical studies on basic level approaches to physiotherapy and rehabilitation for individuals with cerebral palsy and pediatric neuromuscular diseases. Basic level rehabilitation approaches for intensive care patients. Preparation of physical activity programs for cancer prevention in healthy individuals, as well as practical application of specific assessment and treatment approaches for physiotherapy and rehabilitation in adult and pediatric cancer patients.
