Objectives and Contents

Objectives: The aim of this course is to enable students to practically learn ground operations, pre-maintenance preparations, and basic structural system procedures of aircraft in accordance with SHT-66/EASA Part-66 standards. The course also aims to develop the ability to perform safe and effective maintenance practices using digital maintenance documentation.
Content: This course covers the basic operations for ground operations, pre-maintenance preparation processes and structural systems of the aircraft, taking into account what are ATA Chapter 5 aircraft maintenance intervals and in accordance with SHT 66/EASA Part 66 Module 7A 7.20 basic knowledge contents. Transmissions, control cables, material handling, weight-balance calculations, use of ground equipment and storage methods are covered practically. Dismantling, repair, unusual event management and maintenance procedures; EASA Part 66 is covered in accordance with international standards in accordance with the manufacturer's manuals (AMM, TSM, FIM CMM, SRM etc.). Critical applications such as refueling, de-icing, connections with ground support systems and corrosion control are emphasized. The aim of the course is to enable students to perform safe and effective maintenance practices in aviation based on digital maintenance documents.
