Objectives and Contents

Objectives: This course aims to provide information about the fact that the management of the third sector organizations, which have neither the private sector's nor the public institutions' quality, has gained a critical importance and the organizational theory movements and management studies have gradually increased in this field. This course aims to provide the general information on organizations that aim to create a non-profit and social impact in organizational theory and to present the main concerns and general framework to be considered in the management of these organizations.
Content: Contents of the course include the subjects such as identification of the third sector organizations, conceptual and historical review, its legal framework and relationship between the state; the relationship between public space, citizenship and civil society; audit, financing and human resources management of third sector organizations, crisis management and project management of them.
