Contents of the course include the subjects such as concepts of urban and urbanization, concept of sustainability, integration of City concept and sustainability, problems arising from urbanization process (i.e. population, ecological problems, housing and settling), the rise and acceptance of healthy and sustainable city concept, urbanization process and its problems in Turkey, Urban and Regional Planning, Urban Planning Studies, Legal Implementation Tools of Urban Planning, Settlement Problems, Public Service and Housing, the Relationship between Housing and Urbanization, Security of Urban, Urbanite Rights, comparison of urban services developed with sustainability perception in the world and in Turkey. |
