| Objectives: | This course aims to introduce the foreign policy of the Republic of Türkiye in the international system from 1960 to 2010, with particular emphasis on the post–Cold War period, and to foster an environment of independent thinking while enhancing students’ ability to critically evaluate Türkiye’s foreign policy approaches. |
| Content: | The course content includes an examination of Türkiye’s foreign policy from 1960 to 2010 within the context of bipolar and unipolar international systems, focusing on its relations with the United States of America, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics/Russia, and the European Economic Community/European Union, as well as its engagement with the Balkans, the Caucasus, and Central Asia. |
