Objectives and Contents

Objectives: The aim of this course is to cover the building construction principles, methods and to design and solve problems of these methods which take place during all stages of construction.
Content: Following topics are introduced in this class; site construction & earthwork, structural considerations for building mass, floor system design, hot-shaped steel (HSS) construction, heavy timber construction, wood light frame construction, roof construction, door & window, floor finishing, wet area design, wall finishing, staircase, MEP engineering considerations.
