| Objectives: |
Basic vibration knowledge; introducing and applying the mathematical models and calculation methods used in the analysis of vibrations, and introducing the methods of eliminating the vibration problem. |

Basic concepts of vibrations. Free and forced, undamped and damped vibration studies of single degree of freedom systems. Vibration studies of two degree of freedom systems. Free and forced vibrations of multi-degrees-of-freedom systems. Approximate methods in natural frequency calculation. Continuous systems and modal analysis. |
