Objectives and Contents

Objectives: Student will be able to assemble control elements and operate single-phase and three-phase asynchronous motors by using control circuit elements, change rotation direction, and brake.
Content: Control elements, protection relays, starting three-phase asynchronous motors intermittently and continuously, starting three-phase asynchronous motors from two different places (remotely), changing the direction of rotation in three-phase asynchronous motors, starting three-phase asynchronous motors with resistance, starting asynchronous motors with winding rotors, Starting three-phase asynchronous motors with reactance and auto-transformer, star-delta starting of three-phase asynchronous motors, braking in three-phase asynchronous motors, control in double-speed motors, control circuits of one-phase asynchronous motors, changing direction of rotation in one-phase asynchronous motors, control of direct current motors ,
